The campsite

The Polvese Campsite, spread over about 50,000 square metres of land, is a quiet, relaxing place: with its camping pitches and mobile homes, the site looks right out across Lake Trasimeno; the chain of rolling hills behind it are covered in thick, luxuriant vegetation, through which there are many pathways and Mountain Bike trails.
The wide beach with its green carpet, the spacious pitches with plenty of shade and the large common areas for many kinds of sport and recreation make Polvese an ideal choice for happy, relaxing holidays. The Polvese campsite is situated in the middle of an extensive area full of the most beautiful scenery as well as artistic/historical and cultural sights; it is the perfect base from which to visit many exquisite villages and towns in Tuscany and Umbria (Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Chiusi, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Todi, Spello, Spoleto and many others).
